A 3D printed block with various geometries to help you disassemble and reassemble your Tikka T1x bolt.
Available as a free STL download, an STL download with a donation, and shipped as a physical printed product.
There are three geometries in the block that interact with your bolt:
- Hole for the bolt face. Use to de-cock and re-cock and to compress the striker spring for reassembly.
- Half circle with the shape of the bolt rear. Use to remove and reinsert the bolt rear pin that holds in the striker pin and the plastic cover.
- Half circle with the shape of the bolt middle. Use to remove and reinsert the bolt center pin that holds in the firing pin.
Here’s a video showing the various different ways the block can be used to help with disassembly and assembly of the Tikka T1x bolt. An English language version of the video will be coming soon.
Please only take apart your bolt if you are confident that you can put it back together 😉
3D Printing Instructions
Default print settings work just fine. If you encounter troubles with durability consider using a higher infill percentage. I use high infill with the honeycomb pattern to guarantee a high compression strength.
Any plastic will work, I use PETG.
Made in Finland.
If you’re ordering from outside the EU you may have to deal with the customs and pay VAT in your own country.
